Airport Bothersomes…

With my career, I am blessed to travel on a regular basis and I must say there are a few things that get on my bother (I don’t let anything or anyone get on my nerves, that’s too intrusive) at the airport.
I’m going to list mine and you tell if you’re guilty of doing these actions…
People that don’t listen to simple instructions. If the TSA agent tells you, “leave everything in your bags, don’t take nothing out. Put your things in the bin and push it down the rollers” Why would you fix your mouth to say, “Well over there they said take laptops out and take off your shoes.” Did it ever occur to you that different lanes have different rules. It’s no different than you being on the highway. The far left lane is for the fast drivers the middle lane is for the people that just want to coast and the far right is to merge and exit the highway. Everyone is on the same highway, with different realities and different sets of rules. Be an active listener instead of hearing what’s going on in one lane and thinking it will work where you’re going (that’s a word, CATCH IT!)
People that enters into your personal space. Before Covid, I was an avid space distancer. I always kept a distance between the person in front of me and the person behind me because we are spirits living in a human body. Spirit recognizes spirit as well as spirits recognizing when a person’s spirit is off. I protect my personal space and spiritual space as much as possible. If you have an attitude don’t bring your nasty mindset or spirit close to me or I will kindly ask you to BACK UP! It’s no reason for you to be THIS close to me. No matter where you’re going, I’m in front of you and if I don’t actively say you can get in front of me BACK YO’ ARSH UP! Our position isn’t going to change. Also, people have to realize that when you allow the line to be open and free it brings a calmness to the line. It actually makes the line go faster, but when you allow your anxiety and anxiousness to get the best of you it brings stagnant energy to the line. Speaking on a human side of things if you know you have a cold or flu like symptoms WHY ON GOD’S GREEN EARTH ARE YOU SO CLOSE TO PEOPLE? Make it make sense. This is the time when you activate your distance and respect other people lives because you don’t know what your neighbor is traveling for. If they get sick because you chose to cough without covering your mouth and you’re completely on their heels, I think that’s very selfish and you need a beat down.

Lastly is the people that wait for their bag at the beginning of the x-ray scanners; you know where the TSA agent is still looking at other people’s bags. You just put your bag on the rollers and there was 5 bins there before yours. Why do you think yours is coming out first? They aren’t going to prioritize your bag because you waltzed your way through TSA. Stand at the end of the conveyor belt and wait for yours to come to you. You only slow down the process standing in the way of others retrieving their bags before you.

Well guys, this concludes the first of many blogs where I explain things that happen every day that gets on my bother.
Question: Are you one of these people? Well, STOP IT. Be more patient and actively use all of your senses.
If you aren’t one of these people, what is something that bothers you at the airport?
